Level Ups!

Welcome to Level Ups!!!

Level ups was inspired by something I have been doing for 25 years, and that is playing video games! I look to be combining links between games and food!

I have mainly been a PlayStation gamer from the beginning in 1995 when I had the original PlayStation for Christmas. My mum however always said that we only got a PlayStation because my dad wanted one. I remember games like Toy Story 2, Worms, Crash Bandicoot and Hercules. Actually thinking back it was because of Hercules that I wanted a PlayStation in the first place!

Next came the PS2! I can deflationary name a lot more games I remember more than any console. I remember being taken to Game in Nuneaton town after we finished school for the year. I remember the PS2 came with a WWE game, just bring it I think it was. Games were always a big talking point in school and with my friends out of school.

I Played games like Medal of Honor, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City & San Andres, Need For Speed: Underground, Ratchet & Clank, TimeSplitters 2 and a lot of different football games.

But for me my favourite on PS2 and of all time is Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. In fact the whole trilogy is untouchable in my eyes. I remember seeing the trailer for the first game on one of those demo disks you used to get in the PlayStation magazines. I'll leave the trailer below because to this day it still gives me goosebumps!

Now onto the PS3! I got the PS3 for my 18th birthday.

I played games like the Uncharted trilogy, the Batman: Arkham trilogy, Call of Duty, Red Dead Redemption, the Last of Us and Metal Gear Solid 4.

I Play PS4 at the moment. At the minute I am only really playing Fifa 20 because I am waiting for the Last of Us: Part 2 to be released, it's out in just under 100 days I think. I have played Marvels Spider-Man, which was brilliant. Rocket League, Fallout 4 and Detroit: Becoming Human.

I have also played games on the Mega Drive, Gameboy, The PSP, The Wii and PC as well.

Anyway the point of this feature is to pair gaming and cooking references together to make something cool and tasty! There are dishes to be made from video games and I will find them!

I have a few ideas on what to make and I already have my first upload ready. I just need to type it up!
