Late Night Snack Attack!! Part 5: Money In The Bank!

Hello there! And welcome back to another round of late night snack attack!

This time out I talk about a bit of a throwback to May last year, way before this feature was an idea of mine.

This originally was going to be my opening edition of late night snack attack but with all the other things to cook that have popped up, it has been pushed to the back burner.

Here it is now though! Part 5! And this time I talk about my money in the bank box meal!

I had the idea for making this because of something I had seen whilst scrolling through Instagram. People taking pictures of there food whilst at the baseball over in America, some of the ideas & combinations I have seen are ridiculous! (But in a good way!)

American food appeals to me now more than ever, as well as visiting there one day.

On to the event!

The whole point of the money in the bank concept is for there to be a ladder match with a briefcase hanging up in the air. The briefcase holds a world championship contract inside that can be cashed in at any time.

The event was originally scheduled to take place in Baltimore, but it was cancelled due to the pandemic. That never stopped WWE though who made the best out of a bad situation, when they moved the event to their performance centre & to their global headquarters for the main event.

For the main event they filmed the men's & women's matches at the same time. That meant everybody began on the ground floor & fought their way all the way up the building to the roof. The ladder match main event was produced as a cinematic match and not live like how events normally are, the match featured chaos, comedy, cameos & over the top antics.

This was the match I mainly watched the event for because I was interested in how they were going to do it.

For my box meal I wanted to fit as much in as possible so it wouldn't look stingy, I wanted a little bit of verity also.

So I went for grilled cheese & ham sandwiches, popcorn chicken and fries!

Before you think what a fat so and so, the box was made to share!

Speaking of the box, I had a money in the bank briefcase style lunchbox which I keep a few of my cookie cutters inside.

This post may be 10 months after the event but it will be interesting to see if this years money in the bank event will be in front of fans or not.

The show was well worth staying up for, packed with entertainment & a shocking ending! It opened up some exciting storylines but 10 months after the event, I don't think they went ahead with what they started which was a shame.

Looking ahead though and in a few weeks its mania week and there's 5 potential opportunity's to make some more late night food. Also with Joshua vs Fury briefly announced for later on in the year, I am very excited for the late night snack attacks ahead!

I am not looking forward to the lack of sleep though!

Touching on mania briefly, It is being held outdoors with a few thousand fans being able to attend. It is being held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida. Home to recent super bowl champions The Buccaneers, so I am very temped to make a variation of the super bowl sandwich I made not to long ago!

But we will see! I am going to have a brainstorming session to see if I can come up with anything decent.

So that wraps up this latest part of late night snack attack, all be it a throwback

Thankyou all for reading and I will be back soon!
